Mr P, aged 65, was referred to Mr Damir Kosutic, Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in 2017 via a third party for diagnosis/treatment following a traumatic lower limb injury sustained at work in 2015, when a forklift truck had reversed into the gentlemen, causing substantial damage requiring several skin grafts.

Siobhan Casey, fully qualified in the Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) method and Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy (DLT) has become the first private practitioner in Northern Ireland to install the Deep Oscillation Personal Pro 1.1 at The Wellness Therapy Clinic in Warrenpoint.

The Karri Clinic are always looking at ways to improve their patient experience and the surgical journey. With this in mind, Mr Karri is continually analysing his surgery technique and spends a lot of time working with his colleagues to ensure he provides not only the safest environment for surgery, but surgery which ensures the best outcome for each individual patient. He continues to travel around the world and is always keen to refine and adapt his techniques in line with the the advances in medicine and medical equipment.

In 2015, I bought a Deep Oscillation Personal Sports for my practice and I have used it successfully and extensively for the treatment of Lymphoedema and scar tissue post-surgically. Four year later, following referral requests, I added Deep Oscillation to manual lymphatic drainage for my pre and post Vaser liposuction patients. PhysioPod UK Limited kindly provided additional cards for Day 1 – 5 post liposuction and from Day 5 onwards protocols for use in my sports unit to facilitate this.

On Saturday 2nd February 2019, a very snowy Winter's day, PhysioPod® UK travelled to Dorset to attend a special gathering of her patients, which was held in their honour at Stoborough Village Hall. Christine Talbot, MLD DLT Lymphoedema Practitioner in Wareham had asked PhysioPod to attend and for them to meet her patients. Seven of the fifty plus attending were interviewed by Dave MacDonald of Silver Island TV. They gave very honest feedback of their Lymphoedema and the treatment they had received from Christine Talbot with MLD and Deep Oscillation Therapy combined.
